Conrad Hotel & Residential Tower Takes Multiple Honors

The Conrad Hotel & Residential Tower in downtown Indianapolis recently received multiple awards of recognition by various organizations. On November 9, the project received the Monumental Affair Award, The Downtown Development Award of Honor and the Construction Award of Merit from the Keep Indianapolis Beautiful organization.
Hunt Construction Group was the construction manager on this project working with Browning Day Mullins Dierdorf Architects. The project received the Monumental Affair Award, the highest honor, for its significance to enhancing the physical and visual environment of Indianapolis as well as its alignment with the City's goal to make Indianapolis a world-class city. The award represents overall project success for designers, builders and owners.
Additionally, the project also received the BKD - 2006 Best Private Sector Project Over $10 Million Award by the Indiana Associated General Contractors on November 17. This award recognizes contractors whose construction projects demonstrate quality, innovation and excellence in project management and teamwork. This prestigious recognition is awarded annually at the AGC/I State Convention to the most outstanding entry in each category.
The BKD Build Indiana Awards reflect quality and superiority of purpose. Hunt Construction Group is proud to have received such high honors on an exciting and overwhelmingly successful project. Hunt Construction Group also received the BKD - 2005 Best Public Sector Project over $10 Million last year for the Indianapolis Air Traffic Control Tower and Administration Base Building.
