Collin County Justice Center Project

DALLAS, TEXAS - Hunt Construction Group, a proven leader in the construction industry, was recently awarded the $40 million Collin County Justice Center in McKinney, Texas.

With the talented firm of PGAL Architects, the new facility will feature a four-story, 300,000 square-foot court building with an additional lower-level detention area. The impressive facility will use 43 acres of a 274-acre site and will include all site improvements and infrastructure associated with the project. The building will contain courtrooms, detention holding areas and office space, and will be comprised of a concrete frame founded on drilled piers and grade beams to give the structure staying power.

Hunt Construction Group is one of the nation's top builders with more than 62 years of experience building unique and exciting projects. The 810,000-square-foot Dallas County Lew Sterritt Criminal Justice Center, the 180,000-square-foot Denton County Courthouse, and breathtaking 1.3 million square-foot, 50-story Trammell Crow Center name just a few of the more than 100 projects in the Dallas, Texas area.

Construction is expected to begin in July of 2005 with completion scheduled for March of 2007. Hunt Construction Group takes pride in doing the job right, and with a proven track record, they know the Collin County Justice Center will be another project Texas can be proud to call their own.
