Hunt Construction Group Receives Top Honors From Associated Builders and Contractors Florida Gulf Coast Chapter
TAMPA, FLORIDA -
Hunt Construction Group received from the Associated Builders and Contractors Florida Gulf Coast Chapter the Excellence in Construction Award for the Armed Forces Reserve Center in Pinellas Park and Bright House Networks Field in Clearwater.
The Armed Forces Reserve Center was awarded the General Contractors Institutional Project Award for projects over $20 million. Armed Forces Reserve Center is 4 buildings totaling 235,000 gross-square-feet situated on 56-acres. The facility features a readiness center with assembly hall, classrooms, weapons vaults, administration, library, kitchen, recruiting offices, two storage facilities (heated and unheated), operational maintenance shop, helipad, and a medical department training area.
Bright House Networks Field received the General Contractors Metal Building, Industrial and Public Works Award. Bright House Networks Field is a 200,000 square-foot Major League Baseball training facility and community sports complex accommodating the spring training of the Philadelphia Phillies, the Florida State League, and fall instructional league activities. The facility includes a ballpark with approximately 7,000 fixed seats and associated amenities, outfield berm seating for 1,000 fans, 9 private suites, a diamond dugout suite, a party deck on the first base side, a tiered picnic area, home and visiting clubhouses, team offices, and practice facilities with a half-field, pitching mounds, and covered batting tunnels.
