INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA - Hunt Construction Group, the nation's leader of hospitality construction, has completed the $71 million Louisville Marriott Hotel in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. The hotel was opened on March 28, 2005, with grand opening festivities scheduled for April 15, 2005, just in time for the sports fanatics of the world-renowned Kentucky Derby.

The new up-scale Louisville Marriott Downtown Hotel features 742,000 gross square feet of hotel space that consists of 616 guest rooms and suites (591 rooms and 25 suites) on 17 floors. Amenities include 50,000-square-feet of space that breaks into a junior and grand ballroom, as well as into various meeting rooms. Restaurant choices include Champion's Sports Bar & Restaurant and BLU, an Italian Mediterranean Grille. Other features of notable interest include an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, exercise facility, and a 3-level subterranean parking garage.
