Hunt Construction Group Continues To Build Its Aviation Portfolio
PHOENIX, ARIZONA - Hunt Construction Group's West Regional Office has been awarded the Southwest Airlines Tenant Improvement Project at the S-2 Concourse at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Hunt will be providing construction management services for this $5 million project. Hunt was awarded this project on June 15, 2004.
The scope of work for this project includes 30,000 square feet of space on the apron level and a 29,000 square foot baggage distribution enclosure. This is Hunt's fifth project at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport bringing our total construction value to over $90 million.
Other projects for Hunt's Western Regional office include the current work at the S-2 Concourse, Terminal 4, which consists of a three-story, 110,000 square foot concourse with a 13,000 square foot passenger bridge and a 29,200 transfer bridge.
Other Hunt Construction Group aviation projects currently in progress across the nation include the New Indianapolis International Airport - Midfield Terminal project, which will feature a new 1.5 million square foot midfield terminal and airside development including a terminal, concourses, central energy plant, airside apron, roadways, utilities and special systems. Hunt is currently putting the finishing touches on the new Indianapolis Air Traffic Control Tower and Administration Base Building that is a 258 foot cast in place concrete air traffic control tower with 78 foot steel "cab" on top featuring a two-story steel frame administration base building with a 43,000 square foot basement, and a 3,700 square foot, single-story steel-framed Engine Generator Building.
