TAMPA, FLORIDA - Hunt Construction Group, the nation's leader of hospitality construction, has been awarded the Westin Hotel and Rocky Point Condominiums project in Tampa, Florida. Hunt's Southeastern Regional Office, which is located directly across the street from the site of the new Westin Hotel and Condominiums, will provide Construction Manager at Risk services with a Guaranteed Maximum Price.

The Westin Hotel scope of work will include the construction of a new 200-room, 12-story, 227,279 gross square foot hotel with a three-story, 132-space elevated parking garage, and 157 on-grade parking spaces. Commencement for this project is scheduled for October 2004 with an anticipated completion date of February 2006.

The Rocky Point Condominiums will be a 108-unit, 14-story, 335,102 gross square foot condominium complex that will include two levels of parking with 197 spaces and 43 ongrade parking spaces. The schedule for this project is pending.
