DALLAS, TEXAS - Hunt Construction Group's South Region office located in Dallas has been awarded its third DeSoto Independent School District project. The DeSoto High School Additions and Renovations project is valued at $15.5 million. Hunt Construction Group was awarded this project on February 23, 2004.

The scope of work includes multiple areas of expansion and renovation to the 300,000 SF high school, including athletic and physical education facilities, band hall, cafeteria and kitchen, multipurpose building, technology building, science labs, and administration areas.

Hunt Construction Group completed its first school project in 1953 - Vaile Elementary School in Richmond, Indiana. Since then they have completed more than 60 school projects around the country.

The DeSoto project is scheduled to begin in April 2004 and complete in August 2005.
