DALLAS, TEXAS - Hunt Construction Group was awarded the 83,000 SF expansion and renovation of Alcon Laboratories Huntington Phase 2 project in Huntington, West Virginia.

This is the world's leading intraocular lens manufacturing facility. Intraocular lenses (IOL) replace the clouded lenses removed during cataract surgery.

The expansion includes new clean room manufacturing space and support space, new air conditioning systems, and renovation of existing plan space. All work will be performed around Alcon's 24-hour plant operations.

The project (Phase 2) will be complete in the late summer of 2005.
