Hunt Construction Group Secures Three New Jersey High School Projects
PRINCETON, NEW JERSEY - Hunt Construction Group's Northeast Regional Office has been awarded three new high school projects totaling $190 million and 835,000 SF.
The New Long Branch High School project, with a $61 million price tag, was awarded to Hunt Construction Group in November 21, 2003. This new 300,000 SF high school will be built on the existing middle school and high school campus. The school will feature a full service kitchen, auditorium, gymnasium, labs, and classrooms. Other components of the project will include partial demolition and minimal renovation of the existing high school.
The New Central High School project was awarded to Hunt Construction Group on January 9, 2004. This project is estimated at over $65 million. It will house 260,000 SF and be built on a previously cleared site over one city block. Features will include a full service kitchen, auditorium, gymnasium, labs, classrooms, swimming pool, and athletic field.
The $65 million Newark Science Park High School project was awarded to Hunt Construction Group on January 13, 2004. It will consist of 275,000 SF and will be a Science and Technology oriented high school. Features include a greenhouse, science lab classrooms, auditorium, gymnasium, and athletic field.
Hunt's Northeast Office has been awarded over $400 million in new work in the last nine months including Princeton University Science Library, College of New Jersey Library, Veridux in Warren, New Jersey, and The Educational Testing Service Office Complex in Princeton. Hunt Construction Group's Northeast Regional Office is located in The Carnegie Center in Princeton, New Jersey.
