Hunt Continues to Build Local Presence in Southern California

Hunt Construction Group, one of the nation's leading general contractors, is set to open the doors to their new Irvine, California office this month.

Hunt has been building landmarks in southern California for the past 45 years and is excited to establish a new, stronger relationship with the market. Currently under construction, the massive tri-venture USC Medical Center Replacement project in Los Angeles County will be completing soon and setting the benchmark as the largest healthcare project ever built west of the Mississippi.

Overall, Hunt has completed over 70 projects in California. Some of these include the California State Polytechnic Institute, San Francisco Federal Office Building, HP Pavilion, AT&T Park, Moscone Center West Expansion, Four Seasons Hotel, Honda Center, San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina and the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego.

Hunt completes nearly $2 billion of work annually, and maintains a volume of work between $6 billion to $8 billion under contract at any given time. Since 1953, Hunt has completed $3.3 billion worth of construction across the state of California.

The new office will be led by Hunt Vice President Ron Wildermuth. He commented, "At Hunt, we value the communities in which we work, live and grow. It has always been a positive experience for Hunt working in the southern California area and we are eager to become a permanent part of this exciting community."
