University of Phoenix Stadium Design & Construction Appreciation Event

Glendale, AZ - Hunt Construction Group hosted a Design & Construction Appreciation Event at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on August 5th. The event gave workers and their families an exciting opportunity to experience the striking new facility in action. During the event, attendees were able to explore the new stadium as well as enjoy free food and beverages. In addition, the Arizona Cardinals held a scrimmage during the event allowing the design and construction team to get a firsthand sneak peak of this season of Cardinal Football.

The project team was also given thanks by many of the key players for the project. These individuals included Robert G. Hunt, Chairman/CEO - Hunt Construction Group; Robert S. Aylesworth, Jr., Executive Vice President - Hunt Construction Group; Michael J. Bidwill, Vice President and General Counsel - Arizona Cardinals; and Larry D. Landry, Chairman, Ted A. Ferris, President/CEO, Kenny W. Harris, P.E., Vice President for Facilities and Herman L. Orcutt, Board Member all with the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority.

Hunt understands the importance every worker has in making projects like University of Phoenix Stadium possible and is proud to have made this event available to the hard workers of this exciting project. In total, more than 5,000 attendees were able to be the first to enjoy the beauty of University of Phoenix Stadium.
