Retractable Roof Stadiums

Hunt Construction Group is the nation's premier builder of retractable roof stadiums, and is ranked as the #1 builder of sports facilities by Engineering News-Record magazine. Hunt has built four of the six retractable roof stadiums that exist to date in the U.S. Chase Field, home of MLB's Arizona Diamondbacks, in 1998 became the world's first facility with a retractable roof, a natural grass playing field, and air conditioning. In 1999, Safeco Field was completed in Seattle, Washington for MLB's Seattle Mariners. Miller Park, home of MLB's Milwaukee Brewers, was completed in 2001 and features the only fan-shaped retractable roof. And in 2006, University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona and home to the NFL's Arizona Cardinals, became the first stadium in the country featuring a retractable roof and a roll-out natural grass field.

Hunt Construction Group is a member of the International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM) and is a proud sponsor of the Annual Conference & Trade Show.
