A new 600-bed, 1,500,000 SF facility will include four major components: a seven-story outpatient building; an eight-story inpatient tower; a five-story diagnostic and treatment building and a central energy plant. All four buildings are designed to withstand maximum credible seismic events.

Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center

A 345,000 SF, four-level regional hospital with 18,000 SF for a central utilities plant. The hospital contains 134 private patient rooms, six semi-private rooms, 16 critical care beds, 27 surgical, eight cardiovascular, LDRP and pediatric beds, eight operating rooms, imaging, emergency room and a helipad.

A two-phase project: Phase 1 consists of approximately 14,000 SF expansion of the existing emergency room, a 1,200 SF expansion of the central plant, and approximately a 135,000 SF, five-story tower to house an intensive care unit, patient rooms, medical offices, administration and kitchen facilities. Phase 2 consists of an 8,500 SF renovation to the existing emergency room space, a 32,400 SF renovation to the existing hospital and a 19,000 SF new women's medical facility.
