| Sports Illustrated Ranks Five Hunt Built Stadiums in Top Ten Built Over the Last Decade |
|
Sports Illustrated recently ranked the best sports stadiums built over the last decade. Hunt Construction Group is proud to dominate this list having built five of the top ten stadiums on the list, including the top two ranked Stadiums, University of Phoenix Stadium and AT&T Park. In selecting the University of Phoenix Stadium #1, Sports Illustrated said: “Named for a college without a football team, this 1.7-million-square-foot stadium has quickly become one of the central venues in the sports world. It's home to the Arizona Cardinals and the Fiesta Bowl and hosted Super Bowl XLII in 2008. The award-winning design features a roof covered by a translucent fabric and exterior walls made of metallic panels to help with cooling inside. The field can be moved outside on rollers, enabling optimal grass growth in the desert setting.” Other Hunt built stadiums that made the list include Citizens Bank Park, Miller Park and Busch Stadium. Below is the full list of rankings.
Hunt is consistently ranked by Engineering News Record as the nation’s top builder of sports facilities. There are more than 100 Hunt-built sports facilities across the nation. Hunt is currently constructing the Amway Center in Orlando, FL, Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, PA and Marlins New Ballpark in Miami, FL. Check out the full article here. |
