Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center breaks ground

NoelRenderingA groundbreaking ceremony was held on Friday, April 3 to commemorate the start of construction on the $65 million Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center, located on the campus of University of Texas of the Permian Basin in Odessa, TX.

The overall scope of work for the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center includes the construction of a new 108,500-square-foot facility that includes an 1,800-seat, two balcony performance hall and a primary theater, the Rea-Greathouse Hall, is a versatile recital and multi-use space that can accommodate groups of up to 200 for live performances, lectures, receptions and banquets.

Hunt was involved in the initial preconstruction of the facility designed by Portland based, Boora Architects, Inc. Final completion is slated for late 2011.
